Our 7th grade scientists stepped back in time during today’s Fossil Gallery Walk! Students explored different fossils, observed unique features, and discussed what these ancient clues tell us about life on Earth millions of years ago.
From identifying fossil types to making predictions about prehistoric environments, our students used their observation and critical thinking skills like real paleontologists!

Musial Moments visited SFA yesterday! Inspired by Stan Musial’s incredible legacy, this program promotes civility, respect, and selflessness among youth across the St. Louis region.

Today we begin the season of Lent — a time of prayer, sacrifice, and reflection as we journey toward Easter. On Ash Wednesday, we are reminded that we belong to God and are called to turn our hearts back to Him.
As a Catholic school community, we enter these 40 days with a desire to grow — in faith, in kindness, and in love.
May this Lent be a time of renewal for our students, families, and staff.
Heavenly Father,
As we begin this Lenten journey, soften our hearts and open our minds to Your will.
Help us to pray more deeply, love more generously, and serve more joyfully.
Give us the strength to let go of anything that keeps us from You.
May this season lead us closer to Jesus and prepare us to celebrate His Resurrection with grateful hearts.
Amen.

Last Friday, our fifth graders shared a little extra love with our SFA parishioners after Mass by handing out their beautiful, handmade Valentines. 💕
With joyful hearts and big smiles, they reminded us all that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We are so proud of the way our students live out our faith and brighten the day of those around them!
