Our Middle School students had a meaningful and hands-on learning experience during their Catholic Connections field trip to the National Great Rivers Museum and Melvin Price Locks and Dam.
As they explored these unique sites, students deepened their understanding of God’s creation, focusing especially on the vital role of water in sustaining life. Through interactive exhibits and real-world observation, they saw how rivers support ecosystems, communities, and commerce.
This experience helped students connect faith and science—recognizing water not only as a natural resource, but as a gift from God that we are called to respect, protect, and use responsibly.

We are so proud to send a shout out to Margaret, one of our 6th graders, who was honored this afternoon at the Oakville Elks Club!
Margaret won 1st Place in the Oakville Elks Club 6th Grade Division for her powerful essay answering the prompt: “What Does Service to your Country Mean to You?”
But the honors didn’t stop there—her essay also went on to win 1st Place at the District Level!

Before heading into spring break, our teachers and staff participated in Stop the Bleed training. This important program from the American College of Surgeons teaches life-saving skills such as applying pressure, packing wounds, and using tourniquets to control severe bleeding. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn how to better protect and care for our community.
