We were grateful to have Ben Tracy speak to SFA's students, parents, and teachers today. He is running across America, raising awareness about the dangers of social media. We thank him for his passion for keeping students safe. Our students, parents, and teachers are better aware because of his mission!

2nd grade is learning about the properties of matter and how to test for flexibility. They tried to bend plastic spoons, metal spoons, rubber bands, straws, and spaghetti noodles. They felt strong when they broke the metal spoons! They all did a small taste test on the spaghetti noodles. Great Job, 2nd grade!

Faith Families met on Thursday morning. They learned about thankfulness and prayer and wrote petitions and prayers on their group's pumpkin.
"God picks you from the patch and brings you in. He washes off the dirt. He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see."
