Meet Mrs. Berkbigler (Mrs. B)

Hello! I am Mrs. Berkbigler. I love having the opportunity to work with students, whether in an entire classroom, in small groups, or individually. I love giving extra assistance when it is needed so that each student feels successful!

I am fortunate to have worked as a Teacher's Aide in the Archdiocese for the past 31 years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to assist in every grade level from Preschool through 8th grade.

My husband and I have three grown children who attended St. Timothy School and went on to Catholic high schools. We have been blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law, two wonderful sons-in-law, and seven amazing grandchildren. I love spending time with all of them and attending my grandchildren's sporting events.

I am looking forward to my second year at St.Francis of Assisi. The faculty and staff were very welcoming to me when I arrived. I have enjoyed getting to know many of the students and their families. St. Francis of Assisi is an amazing place to work.

Meet Mrs. Cooney

Hello! I am Mrs. Cooney. I love the work we do at St. Francis and enjoy helping in any way I can to make it a wonderful learning environment for students.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was young, but I did not know in what capacity. I went to Fontbonne University for Speech and Language Pathology for kids, but before getting my master's, I wanted real-life experience in the classroom. I have loved every minute of being a teaching aide.

I attended St. Francis when I was a student, and I love the opportunity to teach at the school that I love. I got married in the fall of 2023! My husband and I enjoy spending our free time surrounded by friends and family. I am also a big St. Louis Blues fan!

The teachers and staff make St. Francis a special place to teach. It is a blessing to work and teach with such amazing people. Everyone works hard to make St. Francis a great learning environment for each student. We are also blessed to have such wonderful families and students in our community!

Meet Mrs. Howley

My husband and I have two grown children who are both proud alumni of St. Francis of Assisi. We enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I am grateful to have always been welcome at St. Francis. When our parish school closed in 2004, they opened their doors to all the students, and that meant a great deal to us. Since then, I've become increasingly involved, until I was invited to serve as an aide about twelve years ago. I have always taken pride in being part of St. Francis in various capacities.
