I feel absolutely blessed with my position at St. Francis of Assisi. Teaching students how to think for themselves and igniting a passion for lifelong learning means that I have a hand in inspiring future world changers! I strive to create a classroom where mistakes are encouraged, kindness is key, and respectful collaborative problem-solving is practiced daily.

I graduated from Fontbonne University in 2002 with a BA in Elementary Education and a BA in English. I received an MS in Elementary Education and Certificate in Special Reading in 2008. I have been teaching for 18 years, with experience in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade, and as a K-5 reading specialist.

I grew up in Imperial and attended Holy Child Grade School and Notre Dame High School. After college, I bought a house in St. Louis Hills, where I live with my dog, Flo. We love going to Francis Park to chase squirrels, read, and visit with neighbors : )
