St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School: Principal

And God gave them teachers as revealed in 1 Corinthians 12:28 "Some people God has designated in the church to be, first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then, miracles; then, gifts of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues."
Principal's Welcome
Welcome! I am Mrs. Bartolotta, and I am honored to be the principal of St.Francis of Assisi School. I also help grow our next batch of leaders through a middle school Leadership Elective where we learn about using Digital Literacy to help but not harm ourselves, others, our school, and our world. I'm also a certified Religion teacher and certified in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for Levels 1, 2, and 3.
I played "school" from the time I was very young. A child development course in high school solidified my decision to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Maryville University. After falling in love with the Catholic Schools as I began teaching, I further pursued a Master's degree In Special Education (K-12) from Fontbonne University to better serve the various students I encountered as a Learning Consultant. While I never planned to be a principal, I was "tapped" by God to do that and went to Saint Louis University to complete another Masters but in Catholic Leadership and Administration this time. I am finishing the Catholic Leadership Doctoral program at Saint Louis University and hope to have an Educational Doctorate Degree within the next year, God willing.
My husband and I have two grown children who attended St. Simon the Apostle and Rosati-Kain High School. We are in St. Simon parish. We also love travel, theater, and music.
You feel the difference of St. Francis from the first moment you experience it. It is a strong, faith-filled community of support. I feel very honored to be able to share my faith and grow each day with these amazing students, teachers, families, and parishioners. From my time here, I am a better person, a better teacher, and a stronger Catholic. And while I love it all, the students are hands-down the best part of every day.
Please visit me at St. Francis of Assisi, where you will see why we are Passionately Catholic and Academically Excellent! You can schedule a visit with our school secretary here or by contacting me at beth.bartolotta@sfaschoolstl.org.
I look forward to sharing our amazing school with you soon!
