Meet Mrs. Rutledge

Welcome to our 5th-grade classroom at St. Francis of Assisi School. In our classroom, we foster knowledge, kindness, and faith as we accomplish great things. Curiosity is encouraged, respect is expected, and everyone is valued.

As a third-generation educator, I have always been inspired to teach. While in college, I became a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Educational Honour Society. After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I earned additional licensure in English 5-12. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education at Northwestern Missouri State University.

My husband and I enjoy being active members of our community. We own a travel agency, and in our free time, we enjoy helping others plan their next adventure. Our West Highland Terrier, Lola, keeps us on our toes!

Outside the classroom, I enjoy travelling, cooking with my husband, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy taking their Westie Terrier, Lola, for long walks followed by a puppy ice cream!

Teaching at St. Francis of Assisi allows me to blend a love of learning with the love of Christ into a well-rounded educational environment. The families and students are what make my job a blessing.
