Meet Mrs. Wendl
Hello! I am Mrs. Wendl, and welcome to St. Francis of Assisi’s 3rd-grade classroom, where we strive to help all students become lifelong readers and leaders. I love integrating subjects and having students participate in meaningful and engaging projects.
I graduated from Fontbonne University with a Bachelor of Arts and am certified to teach early childhood and elementary education. I graduated from Missouri State University in the Spring of 2022 with a Master of Science in Education and Literacy. I have my reading specialist certification. I plan to continue teaching in my classroom while utilizing all my new literacy knowledge.
I have been married to my husband since June 2020, and we have two sons, born in July 2023 and March 2025. We love to travel, bike, and German dance in our free time!
This will be my ninth year of teaching, and I have spent all nine years at SFA. It feels like home, and I love my school family!
